24.10.08 – The Bars Media crew headed down to Kenya to start filming our newest project about the island of Lamu--an island with 24,000 people, 6,000 donkeys, and just 2 cars! It will be a colorful and humorous film about the life and culture of this small island which is one of the last remaining centers of authentic Swahili culture in the world!
After our previous film, "A Story of People in War and Peace," (
http://www.warandpeacefilm.com), which was about war and its consequences, we wanted to make something different--something lighthearted and funny--hence the Donkeymentary!
